Move files between devices without handing them to a cloud
dropspace uses WebRTC for direct browser-to-browser transfers, QR links for fast joining, optional password encryption, and live room status so both sides always know what is happening.
No sign-up. No attachment limits from an inbox workflow. No file payload stored on our servers in P2P mode.

Built for fast handoffs
The landing experience should explain speed, trust and clarity in seconds. These are the product pillars users care about first.
True P2P
After signaling, the payload moves directly between peers through WebRTC DataChannel.
QR & instant links
Open the room on another device with a short link or scan a QR code and join quickly.
Optional extra encryption
Add a password on top of WebRTC transport with browser-side AES-GCM encryption.
Bundle multiple files
Package many files into a single ZIP from the browser before sending.
How dropspace works
1. Create a room
Open a room, copy the link, or scan the QR code from another device.
2. Prepare the transfer
Choose files, optionally bundle and encrypt them, then publish the transfer state to the room.
3. Send directly
The receiver joins, the secure channel opens, and the actual file payload flows peer-to-peer.
Security and privacy first
We keep the control plane lean. In normal P2P mode, file payloads do not pass through our servers.
